Conservas Arlequín owes everything to his grandfather Ángel Viadero who, with his entrepreneurial spirit, founded a salted anchovy cannery in the heart of the Bay of Biscay.
In those days the anchovies matured in wooden barrels, the cans were closed with tin and the fish was transported in wicker baskets.
As a result of the effort, the knowledge in the field of fish and the quality of the elaborated product, the Arlequín brand is consolidated and over time, it expands the range of products, also specializing in the anchovy fillet and the bonito of the north.
Conservas Arlequín is close to celebrating its first centenary and has become a benchmark both nationally and internationally, with a presence in the main fishing grounds in the world, without losing its essence as a family business and having its fundamental bases clear:
