La Espiga del Palmar is dedicated exclusively to the cultivation and marketing of rice. It is located in a natural and privileged environment such as the Natural Park of L'Albufera de Valencia.
La Espiga del Palmar is also the brand of rice, a high-quality product that contributes to positioning the good name of Valencian rice, both in the gastronomy of the Valencian Community and in that of the rest of the world.
La Espiga del Palmar enjoys the quality certificate recognized and granted by the Regulating Council of the PDO "Arroz de Valencia", when producing the varieties of rice protected by this Regulating Council, which commits it to maintain the highest possible quality and also use certain traditional uses in production, such as the traditional varieties of the area and the cultivation methodology.
Due to their quality and qualities, the J. Sendra, Albufera and Bomba rice varieties are very interesting for restaurant professionals and also for the tastes of any individual.
Valencia Rice is one of the only three rice dishes with Designation of Origin in Spain, along with those from the Ebro Delta and Calasparra (Murcia).
